Tie between Astros and Rangers

The Houston Astros tied the American Championship Series at 2-2 with a 10-3 victory over the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field on Thursday night.

Rangers starter Andrew Heaney had a disastrous night, allowing three runs and four hits in just 0.2 innings pitched. In this short but difficult phase, the Astros took a 3-0 lead thanks to a triple from Alex Bergman and a single from Yordan Alvarez.

The Rangers didn’t let it get them down with two home runs to make the score 3-3, but then they made their mistakes again. Jose Abreu in the fourth inning and Chas McCormick in the seventh inning extended their arms to give the Houston club a 9-3 lead.

Abreu and Alvarez both finished the game with three RBIs.

The Astros and the Rangers will meet on Friday at the same venue in the fifth game, which will be crucial for the further course of this duel.
