tightrope walker "walk in" among skyscrapers in Milan

Italian tightrope walker Andrea Loreni achieved a unique feat. On Friday afternoon, at a height of 140 meters, it crossed the route between two of Milan’s skyscrapers, the Bosco Verticale, to the Unicredit Tower on a steel cable. With his tightrope act, the 48-year-old opened “Bam Circus”, the international festival of circus arts in Milan, which runs until Sunday.

Countless visitors watched the show on big screens and applauded the tightrope walker after the crossing, which lasted about 25 minutes. A musical piece composed and interpreted by the musician Cesare Picco accompanied the individual stages of the performance. Loreni, who has a background as a street artist, is known for her daring feats in several countries around the world, including Thailand, Japan and Israel.
