Tilly Ramsay said she was “so happy” to become a big sister again after her dad Gordon became a father for the sixth time.

The Strictly star, 22, shared sweet snaps of herself cradling her new baby brother Jesse James while he was snuggled up in a blanket.

Tilly kissed Jesse gently on the forehead as he wore a pink and blue striped hat, revealing his tiny fingers and toes.

She wrote on Instagram: “Welcome to the world Jesse James Ramsay!! I feel so lucky to have another amazing brother and to be a big sister again!!’

Gordon and Tana are already parents to five children: Megan, 25, twins Jack and Holly, 23, Tilly and Oscar, four.

The couple, who married in 1996, kept Tana’s recent pregnancy a secret.

The 57-year-old celebrity chef posted a heartwarming photo of himself kissing his newborn on the head while Tana, 49, cradled him in her arms.

Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Gordon said the birth was an “amazing birthday present” as his birthday is November 8 – which he actually shares with Tilly.

He wrote: “What a great birthday present, please say hello to Jesse James Ramsay, 7lb 10oz, a huge weight!!!” Another bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Completed.’

Tilly’s sister Holly also shared an adorable photo of herself holding Jesse and wrote: “Welcome to the world Jesse James.” I’m a big sister again and my heart is so full.

“@tanaramsay you are a rockstar ⭐️.”

Back in September, Gordon admitted he was being pressured by Tana to have a sixth child, but said he was against the idea – dismissing any suspicions that they were expecting another child.

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish podcast, Gordon confessed: “I have a little secret… Tana wants another one.”

However, he admitted that he was not ready to have another baby as the family needed “two buses” and he was older than the other parents at the school.

He said, “It’s like going to school and eating on two buses.” And secondly, I’ll be the oldest in the school. “Who’s your grandpa?”

“And what about sports day? The egg and spoon race. What should I do? Well, I would like another one, but no.’

Gordon also spoke about how his youngest child, Oscar, is quickly following in his father’s footsteps after he complained about the food at his school in his first week.

He said, “He didn’t want to wear his blazer.” He said, “Dad, it itches too much.” And he said, “The food sucks.”

“I said, son, BYO. He said, ‘What does that mean?’ I said, ‘Bring your own.’ So he has his own lunch box, everything is prepared, he has his finger sandwiches.’

Although Gordon was reluctant to raise his children, he admitted that his fathering skills improved with each child.

He explained: “Everything you did wrong the first time, you do much better.” He is growing up rapidly. “At four, he is like a little adult because he has four big siblings to whom he is responsible.”

Gordon admitted during the coronavirus pandemic that Tana was keen to expand her family and wanted to take the opportunity of lockdown to try.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon, he said: “Literally two hours ago our Prime Minister announced that we are now in lockdown until f***ing February 15th.”

‘So [Tana] said we had good news. You’re up late talking to Jimmy. Tomorrow night we go number six!’

Tana previously admitted that she wants more children in 2021, speaking to Hello! Magazine: “You know, the problem is that I love babies so much, but I think I’ll still be saying that when I’m 70!”

However, she added: “I don’t think there will ever be a time where I’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, never, never, ever again’.”

“But let’s just say I count my blessings and think I’m incredibly lucky. “I’m just enjoying every single moment of it.”
