The 34-year-old comedian launched this first solo exhibition in January 2020, a few months before the COVID-19 pandemic regulations. “Despite the cancellations, the postponement of the shows and the performances in front of a limited audience for reasons of compliance with health standards – and so on – I continued to believe in my show and hope to experience a “normal” tour, he writes. In 2020, Sam Breton won Comedy Show of the Year at the ADISQ Gala and the following year, the Les Olivier Gala crowned him Comedian of the Year.
“Despite the advice from those around me about the continuity of the show after the pandemic, which was not easy, I insisted on always adding a few show dates, a few more months, to extend the tour despite the ups and downs.
