It was Friday, December 19, 1997. As usual in the USA, it was the day of the premiere in the cinemas. The public might have expected it, but they certainly weren’t ready to witness an epic event, one of those events that divide history into a before and after. Yes, we’re talking about Titanic, James Cameron’s epic novel that would go on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of all time, third highest grossing of all time.
Today, December 19, 2022, The Titanic turns 25🇧🇷 If in the plot the socalled indestructible ship broke in half and sank, in real life it was exactly the opposite for the film: a stratospheric overseas success that not only changed the lives of its protagonists Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio, but also the course of the seventh art.
It doesn’t matter if Jack could fit through the wooden door Rose climbed through to survive in the ocean, we all love it. titanic and we will never stop loving him. So, to celebrate 25 years of release, we’ve put together a before and after of the cast, with some of their work since then titanic🇧🇷
Have Kate and Leo changed a lot? Is DiCaprio still a heartthrob? Put “My Heart Will Go On” on the headphones because the nostalgia is high here!
