TJ Holmes has settled his divorce from ex-wife Marilee Fiebig, nearly a year after DailyMail.com exposed his affair with former co-star Amy Robach.
The scandalous affair resulted in both Holmes, 46, and Robach, 50, losing their hosting spots on Good Morning America, and the couple have remained together ever since.
In court documents first reported by US Magazine, the final separation papers were filed on October 11, and Holmes and Fiebig are next scheduled to appear in court on January 9, 2024.
The couple share 10-year-old daughter Sabine, but the two have been in the process of ending their marriage since Holmes filed for divorce in December 2022 after his extramarital affair came to light.

Fiebig, an immigration lawyer, and Holmes were married for nearly 13 years before the affair came to light.
The couple were reportedly separated at the time, but Fiebig was said to have been “blindsided” by the off-screen affair.

Robach’s husband, former Melrose Place actor Andrew Shue, was also reported to have split from the presenter in August 2022, just weeks before the romance came to light.
Holmes and Robach hosted Good Morning America for two years before their affair became public, and the duo won fans over with their on-camera chemistry.
The stars were often caught giggling with each other, engaging in sarcastic jokes and engaging in playful touches on air – and their antics quickly made them one of ABC’s most popular presenting teams.

Both presenters had been married to their respective spouses for over a decade at the time, and an inside source told DailyMail.com that the unsuspecting couples were known to be enjoying their time together.
“Everyone knows that Amy and TJ have been close friends for a long time, running together and even dating each other’s spouses as a foursome,” they said.
As recently as March 2022, the unwitting spouses were seen with the two co-hosts on Robach’s Instagram, where Holmes casually placed his arm around her husband Andrew Shue’s shoulder as part of Robach’s “half marathon squad.”

Photos posted to Robach’s Instagram as recently as March 2022 show Holmes, 45, casually wrapping his arm around her husband Andrew Shue’s shoulder, with both men apparently firmly part of Robach’s “half marathon squad.”
In June of this year, Robach also posted photos of the two co-hosts covering the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for GMA together in London, where their romance is believed to have first blossomed
In divorce documents viewed this week, a writ of dissolution has been processed in New York County Supreme Court, but an agreement and divorce decree are still pending.
Insiders said the affair between Holmes and Robach developed no later than June 2022, when they were “in London together filming the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee for ABC and staff raved about the intimacy between them.”
The duo has hosted GMA 3 since 2020, and many commented on their close – but seemingly platonic – relationship on-screen.
However, their affair came to light when they were seen flirting in a New York bar after filming, spending time together in each other’s swanky Manhattan apartments, and going on a weekend getaway to a secluded cottage in upstate New York amused.

In one instance, on November 10, 2022, Robach and Holmes finished taping their daily segment at ABC Studios before being spotted deep in conversation in a cozy corner of O’Donogue’s Irish Bar in Times Square.
An eyewitness told DailyMail.com: “They were completely in love with each other.” She giggled at everything he said and they looked at each other’s phones. “At one point she was dancing in her chair to the music and laughing so hard that she practically fell into his lap.”
Their affair sparked widespread outrage on the morning television program, leading to ABC News officially parting ways with the duo in January 2023.
“After several productive discussions with Amy Robach and TJ Holmes about various options, we all agreed that it was best for everyone that they leave ABC News,” an ABC News spokesperson said at the time.
“We recognize their talent and dedication over the years and are grateful for their contributions.”
Before their official dismissal, both Holmes and Robach had been temporarily taken off the air while an internal investigation was conducted.
