TO SEE: Anton Forsberg’s new mask, a tribute to ‘Batman’

Ottawa Senators goaltender Anton Forsberg seems to like the Batman films and especially the villains of the saga, as his latest mask clearly shows.

In a sign that he wants to start the season with a touch of renewal and forget his injury-riddled past, the 30-year-old Swede has decided to modify a key part of his arsenal. And of course he wants to show the opponent a much more intimidating and evil face. His mask, made by Friedesigns and presented by the designer on social networks, represents the Joker and Bane, two unsympathetic characters to say the least.

The mask also has space for Batman and, strangely enough, Peppa Pig, which is very popular with children. In addition, Forsberg’s descendants – Ben and Stella – are clearly visible on the back of the device, including the youngsters’ birth dates.
