Russian authorities said on Saturday they were fighting a major fire that broke out at a fuel depot in the city of Voronezh, capital of the eponymous region, where the presence of the Wagner paramilitary group was reported.

“More than 100 firefighters and 30 vehicles are on site. According to initial information, there are no victims,” said local governor Alexander Gusev.
He did not provide any information about the causes of the fire, but the media released a video showing a military helicopter in the area before an explosion.
The city of Voronezh is located about 550 km south of Moscow.
