Almost 75% of parents share photos of their children on social media, watch advertisements and almost 8 in 10 parents don’t know who can see these posts.
The video shows parents thinking about what could happen to their daughter because her picture is shared on social media.
“All it takes is a few photos from social media that anyone can download and use. For you it’s just memories, for others it’s data. For me maybe the beginning of a terrible future,” says the “Deep Fake” character of the aged child.
Identity theft, image theft, voice theft, online harassment – these examples give you goosebumps.
“My voice could be copied to cheat on you, mom,” says the young woman.
She concludes with a nude photo of a child visible on pedophilia websites.
“Everything you share online is like a fingerprint that will stay with me throughout my life. Please Mom Dad protect my virtual privacy,” the character concludes.
