Today, show host Sarah Abo leaves her fellow hosts in hysterics after she was caught suspiciously “scratching her nose” during the commercial break
Sarah Abo was caught by Today Show co-host Karl Stefanovic for a suspicious act during a commercial break on Friday morning.
After the couple promoted the show’s “Free Food Friday” contest, Karl exposed Sarah’s underhanded maneuver that she thought would have gone unnoticed.
“Gosh, you were out early this morning,” he told his co-host, who sighed in disappointment.
The studio then cuts to footage of Sarah scratching the rim of her right nostril.
“We weren’t thinking about Free Food Friday, Sarah,” Karl laughed, indicating that Sarah was picking her nose.
The new host played along with the cheeky joke while fellow co-hosts Alex Cullen and Brooke Boney laughed.

“I mean I didn’t have breakfast, what can I say,” Sarah replied, leaving her co-hosts in stitches.
“To keep with Queensland, we had that for a little lunch every day,” Karl added.
Later in the show, sports host Alex compared Sarah’s nose scratch to a clip from an episode of Seinfeld.
“We weren’t thinking about Free Food Friday, Sarah,” Karl laughed, indicating that Sarah was picking her nose
The scene he was referring to was accidental when the character Jerry Seinfeld was caught picking his nose in his car.
“We saw a new side of our Sarah this morning who was caught on camera earlier digging for gold,” Alex said before showing the clip.
‘No, no, no, I wasn’t digging for gold – it was a scratch!’ Sarah insisted.
Usually, Karl is the recipient of Sarah’s on-air jabs.
The former 60 Minutes reporter replaced Allison Langdon as Today’s new co-host alongside Karl Stefanovic in 2023
In September, while filling in for former Today presenter Allison Langdon while she was recovering from an injury, the 36-year-old savagely roasted the TV presenter over his shocking diet and accused him of “eating McDonald’s at 2am.”
Sarah attacked Karl again in July 2022 when the two were discussing Tom Cruise turning 60.
“I can’t believe he’s 60. That’s unbelievable,” Karl remarked.
“That’s about your age, isn’t it, Karl? You look great,” the former 60 Minutes reporter replied, putting her hand on his shoulder.
“I’m thrilled to be part of the wonderful and hard-working Today team who manage to educate the nation each morning while having loads of fun,” Sarah said of the announcement
