Richard Wilkins has swapped his glamorous TV job to serve sandwiches at his local Bunning’s sausage roll.
The Channel Nine veteran’s son, Christian Wilkins, posted a photo to his Instagram story on Saturday showing his father in a very different look.
Hard at work in a white apron, Richard showcased his cooking skills as he prepared fresh slices of bread for eager customers waiting near the landmark Bunnings Warehouse marquee.
Richard’s son Christian, 28, captioned the picture: “Bunnings stuck at RW.”
The entertainment journalist is rumored to be preparing to tie the knot for a fourth time.

Sources close to the Weekend Today presenter, 68, say he is looking to get engaged to former flight attendant Nicola Dale, who he has been dating since 2020.
“Dickie may be 68 but he still has a lot of life in him.” “He’s more than ready to settle down now,” a source told New Idea.
“There’s just this wonderful lightness about them.” As a couple, they give each other space but seem to genuinely love being together.”

Richard has been married three times and has five children from four different mothers.
He first married at the age of 18 after his 16-year-old girlfriend, Lynette, became pregnant. The teenage couple had a son together named Adam.
After moving to Australia to pursue his pop career, Richard remarried and had two more children, daughter Rebecca and son Nick.

When that marriage ended, Richard had a string of high-profile romances, including in 1989 with actress Rebecca Gibney.
Their relationship reportedly ended when Richard left the actress for his third wife, Michelle Burke. Together the couple had a son, model and actor Christian.
After their split, Richard had a fifth child with designer Collette Dinnigan. They separated in 2004 when she had yet to give birth to their daughter Estella.
In 2017, Richard joked that marriage was “not my specialty” after three divorces.
