UPDATED with latest:Joker: Folie à Deux director Todd Phillips tweeted two new photos of Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn and Joaquin Phoenix in full makeup as the film’s titular villain as he announced the film is officially wrapped.
This is a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew the movie industry has to offer. Top down. Will now crawl into a cave (cutting room) and assemble everything.

Phillips posted a series of photos from the set throughout production, beginning with a mysterious “Day 1” shot of Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck being shaved by a police officer.
PREVIOUSLY on March 25th: No kidding – Lady Gaga was spotted in New York City on Saturday to reprise her role as Harley Quinn in the upcoming movie sequel Joker: Folie Deux.
Gaga was filmed at the New York County Supreme Court in downtown Manhattan surrounded by police. At the crowd scene, extras saw picket signs imploring “Free Joker.”
The Gaga version of Harley Quinn wore a bright red blazer with a bodice in the traditional black and white Quinn diamonds. In addition a black leather skirt and black stockings with a diamond pattern.
Todd Phillips is directing this sequel to The Joker, slated for October 2024. Joaquin Phoenix returns as The Joker, and Zazie Beetz also returns as Sophie Dumond.
Brendan Gleeson and Catherine Keener have unknown roles.
