Tom Brady and his Tampa Bay teammates have arrived in Munich ahead of a historic National Football League game against the Seattle Seahawks — the first-ever on German soil.
The first order of the NFC Süd for the first-placed Bucs was not a pretzel and beer mug, but a trip to the FC Bayern campus, where training took place on the Frauenplatz.
Tampa Bay was in good spirits, not too dissimilar to Sunday’s opponents in Seattle, who thoroughly enjoyed training in the home of the German record champions.
It’s been a difficult few weeks for Brady. His divorce from supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen became official late last month, and he has admitted he’s been “doing too much s***” this week.

Brady and the Buccaneers (4-5) would no doubt have been buoyed by the result of Thursday night’s NFC South divisional duel.
Carolina exacted revenge on the Atlanta Falcons in Charlotte, NC. to claim their third win of the season and leave Atlanta in one loss behind Brady and Co. at 4-6.
Tampa arrived in Munich early Friday morning before quickly boarding a bus to train.
Brady characteristically led the Bucs on a game-winning drive as they defeated the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams 16-13 on Sunday to keep their playoff hopes well and truly alive.

If they defeated the scorching NFC West leaders Seattle Seahawks (6-3), led by quarterback Geno Smith, Tampa would have a one-game lead in the upside-down NFC South.
The longtime New England Patriot quarterback spoke about his jubilation at the opportunity to play for ardent German fans on his LetsGo! Podcast Monday.
“The chance to go to another country,” Brady told host Jim Gray. “Play a sport I love, I heard there are 3 million ticket requests for 67,000 seats.
“So the place is going to rock and if it’s like I’m seeing in these German Bundesliga games, this is going to be one of the most epic games we’ve ever played in. So, I’m super excited.”
Brady, like most players, has geared up for training in Munich given the cool temperatures in the Bavarian city
Brady is currently undefeated – albeit one game in – since his divorce from supermodel wife Bundchen was officially announced on October 28.
Although the prospect of continuing that run remains more difficult given this week’s opponents at Allianz.
“We’re playing a great team in Seattle,” Brady said on his podcast. “You’re first in your division. We’re tied for first place here and it’s a big challenge because flying like this over the ocean, new time zone, it’s 9:30 east kick-off. It will have its challenges.
“The weather is going to be a bit chilly but we’re playing in this very, very cool arena that Bayern Munich play in, which is sort of the top football team in the country and it looks fantastic in pictures.”

Brady announced he was retiring from the NFL in February, only to turn back 40 days later and reverse the decision. Many believed that Brady’s return to the NFL became a bone of contention for Bummel.
A source confirmed to in late September that their physical split was not affected by Brady’s move to his beloved sport. The Bucs star said the divorce was a “difficult” and “painful” decision that the couple made after “a lot of thought.”
Bundchen said, “Ending a marriage is never easy…we grew apart.” She said she wished Brady “the best,” but acknowledged the couple had “grown apart.” “I feel blessed for the time we had together and always wish Tom the best,” she said.
Both said they would continue to raise their two children together. The couple are expected to share custody of their two children, Vivian, 9, and Benjamin, 12. Tom also has a third son, 15-year-old son Jack, with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Brady and Gisele Bundchen confirmed their split on October 28 after weeks of media speculation
Bundchen reportedly bought a $11.5 million mansion right across the street from Tom Brady’s home weeks before the couple finalized their divorce.
The supermodel closed at the 6,600-square-foot, five-bedroom Miami Beach mansion on Oct. 6, Page Six reported.
The mansion appears to be almost directly across from her ex-husband’s home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.
Bundchen first toured the mansion on Aug. 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day hiatus from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The separation was a last attempt to save the relationship, it said.
