Tom Brady was serenaded by Birmingham City fans at a local pub as he flew in to watch the Blues play Leeds United on Saturday.

The NFL legend became co-owner of the Blues earlier this month thanks to an existing relationship with the club’s new American owners.

After missing out on Birmingham’s 1-1 draw with Swansea on the opening day of the Championship and 2-0 win over Cheltenham in the EFL Cup, Brady has flown in for his first home game.

Brady has now been spotted at a local pub with Birmingham fans singing to him as he enjoys the pre-match atmosphere.

This prompted the official Birmingham account to reply: “See you soon Tom!”.

And it looks like Brady was already making plans before the clash: he was recorded at a local pub, surrounded by blues fans singing to him.

After joining the club, Brady said: “Birmingham City is an iconic club with so much history and passion and to be part of the Blues is a real honor for me.”

“BCFC is built on teamwork and determination and I look forward to working with the board, management and players to make our Second City club second to none.”

“I’ve been part of some great teams in my time and I look forward to using my perspective to achieve the same success here in Birmingham.”

The former Premier League club have struggled financially in recent years but the arrival of new owners at St Andrews has given optimism to Birmingham supporters.

Despite the likes of Jobe Bellingham and Tahith Chong being sold this summer, there have been several reinforcements as the Blues look set to finish strong in the Championship.

They hope Brady can prove a lucky charm when they face newly promoted Leeds United on Saturday.
