Tom Brady: more than $150,000 for his baseball card

One of Tom Brady's baseball cards in a Montreal Expos uniform was auctioned off for a small fortune.

In December, the company Fanatics, which owns Topps trading cards, released the Bowman Draft 2023 series: This contains the first baseball card of the legendary quarterback in the “Loves” uniform.

One of these cards was purchased on Saturday on the Goldin auction platform for an amount of $158,600. The seller is a collector from Minnesota who was lucky enough to find a signed Brady card.

The holder of seven Super Bowl rings was drafted by the Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 draft. However, the one who worked as a catcher in baseball decided to reject the invitation of the Montreal organization and continue his sporting journey in football. The quarterback moved to the University of Michigan Wolverines and the rest is history.

When Fanatics introduced its new collection of cards, it created a huge response with an ad claiming that Brady had achieved the same success in the major leagues – in Montreal – as he had in the NFL. His 649 touchdown passes became 649 home runs and his seven Super Bowl victories became World Series victories.
