Brady will be a free agent after the NFL postseason, and given his new single lifestyle, he’s widely expected to continue playing. Though the 45-year-old won’t be making a decision about retiring, moving to another franchise, or staying with Tampa Bay.
He and Bundchen had made plans to move to the high-security enclave — dubbed the Billionaire Bunker — after purchasing the $17 million property in late 2020. They demolished a pre-existing 5,772-square-foot home on the property and are constructing a state-of-the-art eco-friendly mansion in its place.
The island is less than half a square mile and has been a magnet for billionaires, celebrities and power couples who have flocked to it for privacy and safety.
Once construction is complete, Brady will be neighbors of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer, and billionaire investor Carl Icahn.

The mansion appears to be almost directly across from her ex-husband Brady’s home, which is under construction on Indian Creek Island.
Bundchen first toured the mansion on Aug. 16, just days before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback took an 11-day break from playing in the NFL, a source told Page Six. The separation was a last attempt to save the relationship, it said.
Her reported new digs are in Surfside, while Brady’s mansion is on the shores of Biscayne Bay.
