Tom Cruise was teased by his friend James Corden as the Hollywood actor celebrated his 60th birthday with a star-studded party in the UK.
The ‘Mission Impossible’ actor was honored with a lavish party at Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire on Saturday, attended by the likes of Simon Pegg and Benedict Cumberbatch.
During the celebrations, James, 43, took the stage to deliver a speech in which he referenced scenes from some of Tom’s most famous films while joking about things his pal had “pioneered”.

Referring to Tom’s iconic shirtless scene in Top Gun, James quipped, “He pioneered how we play volleyball in pants and shirtless.”
Referring to the star’s adult thriller Eyes Wide Shut, which sees Tom infiltrating an underground sex group, James added, “He pioneered how we go to secret sex parties.”
The Late Late Show host then poked fun at the star’s youthful looks, noting, “The producers told me the plot of the new Mission: Impossible. The whole team is trying to find a line on Tom’s face.”
Tom and James have been friends for years, and Tom recently appeared on his pal’s talk show for a Top Gun-inspired sketch in which the pair flew them across a desert in two fighter jets.

It was revealed last month that Tom was planning to celebrate his milestone birthday with two lavish parties – one in the UK and one in his native America.
The guest list for both parties was very exclusive and high profile, with the likes of David Beckham and Prince William receiving invitations.
Tom received birthday wishes from a number of high-profile staff as he turned 60 on Sunday.

Those posting birthday wishes included filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie, who worked alongside Tom in 2012’s Jack Reacher, as well as several Mission: Impossible films, including the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two.
“Happy 60th birthday Tom,” Christopher captioned an accompanying shot of Tom clinging to the wing of a vintage airplane in midair.
Tom, who was cast in the summer hit Top Gun: Maverick as Capt. Pete “Maverick” Mitchell returned, also received kind words from two of his castmates, Val Kilmer and Glen Powell.
Val said: “Happy Birthday Mav @TomCruise from Ice!” regarding his reprise of the role of Admiral Tom ‘Iceman’ Kazansky in the sequel.
Glen, who plays Lt. Jake “Hangman” Seresin, playing, reposted the death-defying image McQuarrie shared.
He wrote: “This is 60. TC there’s just nobody like you. Stay tuned. Happy Birthday!’
