Tom Hanks ‘engaged in heated argument’ at Asteroid City premiere in Cannes

Tom Hanks appeared to verbally abuse a worker as he walked the red carpet at the premiere of his new movie, Asteroid City, during the Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday night.

The 66-year-old actor looked unusually frustrated as he pointed a finger at the younger man while attending the event alongside his wife Rita Wilson, also 66.

Actress and producer Rita, who also stars in the film, was seen holding her hand out in front of her while speaking to the unnamed man.

Dressed in a tuxedo and bow tie, he was seen talking to the couple in what appeared to be an attempt to calm the situation.

However, Tom continued to appear upset as the trio spoke before walking the red carpet to pose for photos at the event.
