For the nation
The innocence of Forrest Gump (1994), the persistence of Cast Away (2000) or the values of Saving Private Ryan (1998) made the Hollywood actor one of the audience's favorites and made him the winner of five Golden Globes The chameleonic gift between the romantic comedy and the dramatic genre stood out in his long career with films such as “The Terminal” (2004) and “A Grumpy Neighbor” (2022), available on Netflix.
But like everything, the story also has a B-side. This is how Tom Hanks remembered the role he played and of which he does not have good memories. Speaking to Josh Scherer on his YouTube series Mythical Kitchen, he revealed which character was the worst he gave life to.
“Which role would you least like to be reminded of?” asked Scherer unfiltered. Hanks didn't think twice before answering forcefully: “You have to understand that each of these films was made with the greatest faith imaginable,” he began. And he continued: “They are all wonderful to make. “Everyone works very hard, so criticizing any of these characters is an insult to the community work we all do.”
The Hollywood actor later mentioned that he filmed an episode of the comedy “The Love Boat” in 1980 that he preferred to leave in the past. He is now continuing his career behind the camera as a producer and director, with films such as “Band of Brothers” (2001).
