EMILY PRESCOTT: Tom Holland’s comedian dad Dominic reminds his Spider-Man star son that ’99 percent of celebrities are completely interchangeable’
Tom Holland may be an A-list star swinging from the lofty heights of his Spider-Man fame, but his father is still on hand to bring him back down to earth.
Dominic Holland, Tom’s comedian dad, puts it like it is when he tells me, “I guess 99 percent of celebrities are completely replaceable. I remind Tom of that very much!’
He says he still speaks to Tom three times a week and has written a book about how he was overwhelmed by his son’s success.
It’s appropriately titled Eclipsed and will be released as an audiobook later this month.

Model Portia Freeman has revealed the unusual way she’s dealing with her claustrophobia on the London Underground: carrying crystals with her at all times.
Portia, who has modeled for Chanel and Alexander McQueen and is best friends with Daisy Lowe, also has some more conventional suggestions — recommending talk therapy, deep breathing, and meditation for others suffering from the same anxiety.
Regarding her crystals, the 34-year-old says: “I usually wear a small amethyst.” The perfect choice for her travels with the new purple Elizabeth line!

Mike Tindall, husband of Zara Phillips, and his former England rugby team-mate James Haskell have created their own brand of gin – but they won’t be relying on Tindall’s royal connections to whip them up.
Haskell says of Black Eye Gin, “We don’t want it to be just another celebrity endorsed product.”
Let’s hope they do better than Tindall’s brother-in-law, Peter Phillips, who has retired from his events company, SEL UK.
In 2016, the company was controversially paid £750,000 to catering a lunch party for his grandmother the Queen’s 90th birthday.
