Tomorrowland Brasil ends with more criticism and Alok’s plea for peace
Tomorrowland Brasil ended this Saturday (14th). On the last day of the largest electronic music festival there were performances by Brazilians like Alok and Vintage Culture, messages of peace, but also a lot of criticism.
Vintage Culture, which was scheduled to play on the second day of the event, performed on the third day due to the program interruption. Still, the DJ got the crowd dancing.
Alok was the one who ended the festival. Not only did he perform hits like “Hear Me Now” and “Fuego,” but he also touched on the theme of the event and left a message for his fans. The DJ appeared wearing a Tshirt that read “Peace” and “Hope” in multiple languages.
“We want the world to give peace a chance,” Alok said at the presentation.
The DJ has had a difficult time with his family in recent days. Alok’s father, DJ Juarez Petrillo, survived the attack by the terrorist group Hamas on the electronic music festival “Universo Paralelo” in Israel on Saturday (7). After moments of tension, he returned safely to Brazil last Wednesday (11).
But not everything ended well in “Tomorrowland Brasil”. The festival experienced structural problems with heavy rain on the first day and therefore had to cancel the program on the second day. The public faced a lot of mud and kilometerslong queues to leave the Parque Maeda in Itú, where the event took place, and expressed criticism of the organization on several occasions. The festival decided to reopen its doors for the final day and guaranteed improvements to the structure. However, further complaints were voiced online:

They changed the Uber location at the exit and everyone had to walk 3 km with suitcases without anyone from production informing them about it in advance, and charged absurd amounts in stores in stores, although conditions for stalls should be provided. Change the date or force better infrastructure! On this third day everything was much better than the first as barriers were put up on the main roads. Otherwise: Long live Tomorrowland Brasil!

Terrible organization, food too expensive for terrible quality (50 reais for a hot dog on the corner), 90 reais to charge your cell phone, 35 reais for a raincoat, 9 reais for water…
