Nobody baby now! Toni Collette dances away her heartbreak at the Nick Cave concert in Sydney after her shock split from husband Dave Galafassi
Toni Collette is overcoming her shock divorce in the best way possible – by hitting the dance floor.
The 50-year-old Muriel’s Wedding star – who split from husband Dave Galafassi after 20 years of marriage – celebrated her troubles away on Saturday as she attended Nick Cave and Warren Ellis’ live concert at the Sydney Opera House.
Toni subsequently praised the sold-out performance on Instagram, writing: “The awesomeness of @nickcaveofficial @thewarrenellis,” alongside a gallery of photos taken by the audience.

Toni secured a front seat and was able to join the hordes of revelers who danced to Cave’s biggest hits, including Ghosteen and Carnage.
It is unclear whether Toni attended the concert alone or with company.
Toni has long been a fan of Nick Cave and his band The Bad Seeds.

In 2016, Toni and her ex-husband Dave’s band, The Finish, released an album titled Beautiful Awkward Pictures? that was loosely inspired by Nick Cave’s musical style.
At the time, Toni’s publicist described the album as a “grown-up contemporary with a real indie vibe…Like a female Nick Cave, but not as somber as Nick Cave.”
Meanwhile, Toni is recovering from her recent divorce from Dave, which became public when he was photographed kissing another woman earlier this month.

Dave, who was a drummer in an indie rock band when he met the Muriel’s Wedding star, was photographed having a morning swim in Manly with chiropractor Shannon Egan earlier this month.
Chron Australia contacted Toni’s management about the photos and hours later she announced the couple had split in a joint statement posted to her newly activated Instagram account.
“It is with grace and gratitude that we announce our divorce,” the couple wrote.
“We are united in our decision and are parting with continued respect and care for one another.
“Our children are of the utmost importance to us and we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit in different ways. We are grateful for the space and love you are granting us as we evolve and peacefully move through this transition. Many Thanks.’
