Tonight on TV: Films from the digital terrestrial program
Many different films and genres fill the program again and like every day we would like to recommend two of them. The film adaptation of Lee Child’s novel of the same name will be broadcast on Nove. Jack Reacher – The decisive test. Lee himself appears in a cameo as a police officer who returns the protagonist Jack’s personal belongings. The success of this first chapter resulted in a sequel in 2016 called Jack Reacher – Point of No Return.
While Oliver Stone’s film is being broadcast on Rai Movie on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the attack, JFK – A case is still open. The film caused a stir because it supported the theory of a Kennedy conspiracy. For this reason, the then President of the United States, George H. W. Bushformed an investigative commission with the task of collecting all material on the attack and publishing the documents in 2017.
Jack Reacher – The decisive test 9:25 p.m. on nine
Jack Reacher (Tom Cruise) left the force early and appears to have been out of action ever since. One day the sniper James Barr (Joseph Sikora), accused of murdering five people in Pittsburgh, gives his name as a guarantee of his innocence. To save the man, Jack begins working with the lawyer Helen Rodin (Rosamund Pike) to find the real culprit of the massacre. The investigation shows that there is a business gang behind it, the leader of which is the Russian Zec (Werner Herzog). Will Jack be able to stop the escalation of crime that is sweeping the upper echelons of power?
JFK – A case is still open on Rai Movie at 9:15 p.m
The New Orleans District Attorney, Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner) investigates the assassination of United States President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He begins to explore the shady circles in which the murderer ran, Lee Harvey Oswald (Gary Oldman), to the point that the pilot is suspected David Ferrie (Joe Pesci), but the federal government officially rejects the accusation. What makes Garrison give up is the assassination of Oswald a few days later Jack Ruby (Brian Doyle-Murray) and so he is forced to close the case. Three years later, Senator Russell B Long (Luciano De Ambrosis) confides in Garrison his doubts about the killing, recalling that some parliamentarians had hoped for it and that the official investigation report was full of inconsistencies. So Garrison will start investigating again…
