AEW President, CEO, CEO & Creative Director Tony Khan has announced several updates to today’s taped episode of AEW Rampage.
Khan appeared on Busted Open Radio and revealed that we’ll be hearing the new AEW TNT Champion Scorpio Sky on the show tonight. This will be Sky’s first promo since winning the strap from Sammy Guevara in the Dynamite main event on Wednesday.
We previously noted, based on spoilers from Wednesday’s entry, that The Hardy Boys and members of Team Taz will also be appearing tonight. Khan and Matt Hardy confirmed that The Hardys would appear, but no other details were provided. Khan also confirmed that members of Team Taz would be appearing.
In other news for today’s AEW Rampage, the show will open with Mark Kuen vs. Darby Allin in a singles match. Isaiah Cassidy and Sting will be in their corners. AEW has announced that fans can connect to Twitter and YouTube at 9:55 pm ET to see Quen and Allin take the stage to kick off the show. AEW has been doing this for several weeks now.
Kwen vs. Allin kicks off today’s Rampage, the show will end with Shane Strickland’s AEW debut against Tony Nese.
