The Samsung 65S95B – the 65-inch (165 cm) version of the 55S95B we tested – is the Korean manufacturer’s first QD-OLED TV. A model that combines quantum dots (Quantum Dot) with individual backlight control of Oled technology to deliver a bright, precise image with deep blacks. A whole program.

The QD-Oled technology, already seen on the Sony A95K, confirms that it now needs to be taken seriously in the television market. The Samsung QE65S95B – the 65-inch (165cm) version of the QE55S95B we reviewed – is an excellent TV across the board. It is suitable for both movie fans and video game enthusiasts. Thanks to a high brightness peak and deep blacks, the generated image particularly enhances HDR content. We only hope that Tizen’s slowness will be corrected in the next updates.

The LG 65C2 remains one of the benchmarks in the television market, offering a perfectly calibrated picture and a very high quality HDR experience. LG even offers itself the luxury of reducing the consumption of its Oled TV and improving the system’s responsiveness while expanding the functionalities. On the video processing side, LG doesn’t have much to prove anymore, both in terms of upscaling and motion compensation. If we add to this an undisguised lightness in video games, the LG 65C2 TV is a model of versatility, suitable for everyone: from film fans to video game enthusiasts, to sports or documentary enthusiasts. It’s hard to be disappointed with the LG C2.
