After splitting from her estranged husband Dean McDermott, Tori Spelling is considering how to navigate the holidays as a single mom.
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum opened up about the difficulties of last-minute Christmas shopping for her five children in a vulnerable rant shared on her Instagram Story on Friday.
“It's December 22nd and I've officially bought my first Christmas present,” she wrote. “5 Christmas lists to tackle. 3 days time [it.]”
Spelling said she “missed the Amazon Prime cut-off for online purchases” and had to resort to in-person shopping.
“Now I have to walk through the mall alone. I’m crushing this Christmas 2023 for single moms 😂,” she added.

The “Due South” alum announced his divorce from the actress in June after 17 years of marriage.
“It is with great sadness and a very, very heavy heart that after 18 years together and five amazing children,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post, adding that he would work with Spelling to co-parent their children .

McDermott spoke out about the statement last month, revealing he posted it in a desperate attempt to escape Spelling after their “drunken and angry” fight led to his suicide attempt.
He told the Chron that he took “six or seven” sleeping pills in the hope of never waking up.
“It was the night I was angry with her and the children and I saw the light, the last flicker of the flame in her eyes go out,” he said.
Spelling added that she missed the cutoff time for shopping on Amazon and now has to go to the mall. FilmMagic
“I posted this because I was at the end of my rope. I did not know, what I should do. I had burned everything down again.”
Shortly after posting the breakup post, he deleted it, which led to him taking more Ambien.
“I was literally at my wits end. That night I drank and took my pills,” he continued.

McDermott further revealed that God wanted him to wake up and that he “would have ruined so many lives if I had died.”
The actor is now sober after checking into rehab, but has not seen his estranged wife or children since shortly after the incident.
At that time, Spelling and her children had to move out of their rental home due to a mold problem.

The fiasco led to the “Scary Movie” actress spending a week in a $100-a-night motel with her five children before the family moved to a mobile home park.
Additionally, Spelling has recently been determined to find a home and was photographed touring properties in Los Angeles in October.
