“There’s only four motherf*ckas in the car. Me, you, my homegirl and your safety,” Megan also said on the live stream. “Everyone in the car is arguing. I’m in the front seat, that n*gga in the back seat.”

Claiming she got out of the vehicle and walked away, Megan continued, “That n*gga started shooting at me from the back seat of the car. You shot me.”

Lanez asks if she was ever shot in the foot on his song “Money Over Fallouts.” This was also reportedly a contentious issue in the court case.

The 30-year-old says at the 2020 track: “I have to see a couple of questions: how the hell do you get shot in the foot without hitting bone or tendons?”

He also says in the song, “Girl, you had the guts to write that statement on that affidavit. I know I don’t, but I’m at my best. Try to keep that shit two hundred with you babe I can prove it But the people in your ear are the real ones I fear.”

A judge ordered Lanez not to speak publicly about the February 2021 incident, per Page Six.

In October, HotNewHipHop reported that the Canadian musician was placed under house arrest and had to wear a GPS-tracked ankle monitor pending his trial.

The decision came after Lanez allegedly attacked fellow artist August Alsina. According to the “I Luv This Sh*t” singer, Lanez attacked him after refusing his handshake, leaving him bloody and bruised. Lanez is reportedly no longer required to wear his ankle monitor as allowed by a judge.

According to TMZ, opening statements for the Megan shooting trial will begin sometime next week. Check with HNHH for new updates on the ongoing case.
