Tory Lanez says his bald spot is the result of alopecia.
In response to being trolled about a bald spot on his head, Tory Lanez defended himself by claiming he suffers from alopecia on Twitter on Wednesday. The comment comes just weeks after Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars for downplaying Jada Pinkett Smith’s condition.
“Fully aware of the bald spot in the back of my head guys I rap about it all the time…it’s alopecia…whats the big deal,” Lanez wrote on Twitter, adding laughing and shrugging emojis.

Some fans responded by showing support for Lanez, citing his ongoing legal battle related to an assault charge and Megan Thee Stallion.
“Because that’s all they’ve got since you walk out of court smiling… it’s grasping at straws but when you walk out like this,” one Lanez fan wrote. “Forget the haters, because God has you.”
Lanez was handed over to police in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday after being accused of violating a protective order against Megan. The judge ruled that Lanez’s social media posts appear to be “clear messages” to Megan. Shortly after, he posted $350,000 bail. A trial was set for September 14.
