Around 8 a.m. the body of a child was discovered lying in the sand. The area has been cordoned off. Police forces (Mossos d’Esquadra and Guardia Civil) were dispatched to the scene.
Investigators currently do not know the circumstances surrounding this tragedy, nor the identity of the little boy. Nonetheless, our colleagues at El Caso confirm that the body is hersa two year old child. That it was discovered in one advanced state of decomposition. And that he would miss some parts. Therefore, the investigators assume that he could have spent a long time in the water. Which the forensics will uncover thanks to the autopsy.
According to a witness cited by El Caso, the body had been lying on the beach since the day before, but no one had approached it, mistaking it for a doll.
