Trailer for the second season of the series “Gentleman Jack” – lesbian fire

About six minutes ago, did you hear a high-pitched scream from New York? It was me! It’s just the noise I make when the Gentleman Jack season 2 trailer comes out! Which he did, and it’s absolute fire! You will remember, of course, that when we last parted with Ann Lister and Ann Walker, they had a small, private gay marriage, after a Pride and Prejudice worthy reunion on a cliff top in Halifax, after a whole season of dancing around. their feelings for each other. Basically Anne danced while Anne paraded around the world in a top hat, making deals, seducing ladies, and polishing her thermometer. (IT IS ILLEGAL!)

And here we are:

And not a pig devouring a man, and not a direct murder-mystery!

Here’s the official synopsis:

In the new season it is Yorkshire, 1834. All eyes are on Anne Lister and Anne Walker as they set up a home at Shibden Hall together as wife and wife, determined to unite their estates and become a powerful couple. Anne Lister’s entrepreneurial spirit scares the locals as much as her unconventional personal life, and with Halifax on the brink of revolution, her refusal to keep a low profile becomes provocative and dangerous.

And now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to take the narrowest dam walk around the block my neighborhood has ever seen, to honor the memory of Mrs. Lister.
