And winners Meryl Williams, Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski have revealed how they plan to spend their wealth – from travel and career changes to supporting family.

The trio won a whopping £101,050,000 during the show after successfully tracking down all the contestants playing as traitors while staying ‘loyal’ themselves.

One person who made it clear from the start what he intended to do with the money was Aaron, who repeatedly stated that he wanted to help his mother buy a house.

And the real estate agent stayed true to his word with the sweet gesture, explaining after the win: “I think I’ve been saying that all along, but I’m going to put some of it up as deposit for my mum’s house. ‘

Despite the huge win, he shared during a post-win chat with host Claudia Winkleman that it “isn’t quite there yet.”

“I didn’t really know how to feel at the time, but I think you can see from my reactions to the show that I was just blown away. It was crazy,” he continued.

Meanwhile, call center agent Meryl is considering a career change after becoming over £33,000 richer.

“Maybe I’ll make a career change. Maybe I’ll take a little trip. I would like to try new things. I feel like the money gives me some kind of security blanket to take some time off and try new things,” she told Claudia.

Adding that her win has another special meaning, the Edinburgh native, who suffers from dwarfism, explained: “I think I’m the first person with my condition to win a reality show that I’m so excited about. Overall I can’t believe it. I still can not believe it. I feel very grateful. I feel ecstatic.”

Ultimate winner Hannah didn’t specifically reveal what she would spend her winnings on, simply describing it as “life-changing.”

Admitting she suffers from imposter syndrome, the comedian told Claudia: “I felt like a total intruder. As if someone was wrong. Like someone is going to turn around at any moment and say no, sorry we messed it up.”

In the show, hosted by Claudia, a small number of players secretly chosen to be traitors compete against their loyal peers to win the prize fund.

Players are then eliminated when the traitors secretly meet and decide to “murder” one of the believers. When the group meets for breakfast the next morning, the “murdered” player does not appear.

But despite working hard to catch the traitors, the victorious trio actually formed the strongest alliances with some of the traitors – unbeknownst to them to the end.

“I think maybe he wanted us there with him because we were all having a good time. He probably thought I’d keep them in and maybe end up taking the money… although it didn’t quite work out that way! Ironically I think if we hadn’t been such good friends he would have gotten rid of me.’

While Aaron was close to the traitor Amanda, who was banished from the castle earlier in the week after suspicions reached a boiling point.

“I had no idea she was a traitor – not at all. She was like a mother figure to me and really took me under her wing. She was always there for me and kept me close, that’s why she played the game so well,” he explained.

Adding: “But I had absolutely no idea she was a traitor, I was so shocked. After that I had to change my direction and start suspecting other people.’

The trio managed to bag their victory after traitors Wilfred and Kieran Tompsett attacked each other, raising suspicion in the group as the latter was banished and exposed as a traitor, but Wilf stayed.

It was a close decision as Meryl chose to trust Wilf and end the game with him – meaning he would have taken the full £100,000 for himself.

But suspicious Hannah and Aaron stayed on the alert and decided he needed to be banished just in case, resulting in victory.
