Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, wants to establish itself as a major tourist destination in the Middle East. This modern metropolis offers a number of breathtaking places that you must visit.

According to local media outlet Khalij News Gate, Riyadh is full of places and tourist attractions that “attract visitors from all over the world.” Among these places, the media has selected six in particular that you must discover when visiting Riyadh.
Kingdom Center Tour
The approximately 300 m high tower in the center of Riyadh is one of the most popular places in the Saudi capital. The building houses a shopping center, a community center, offices, residential apartments and luxury hotels.
“The tower is impressive from the outside, but from the Sky Bridge, which rises above the 99th floor, the view over the entire city of Riyadh is incredibly impressive,” says one visitor on TripAdvisor.
Wadi Hanifa
Tourists who want to spend a moment of relaxation away from the noise of the city just have to go to Wadi Hanifa. With its breathtaking natural landscapes, this beautiful valley stretches for almost 120 km from the northwest to the southeast of the capital.
The valley features streams, green corridors, walkways and picnic areas where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the landscape.
Burj Rafal
The Burj Rafal is another skyscraper in Riyadh, standing 307.9 meters tall and 68 stories high. It is one of the best tourist spots in the capital, often popular with visitors to take photos that capture their time in Riyadh.
Al-Hokair land
It is an amusement park in the al-Hamra district of Riyadh. It was founded in 2002 and is considered one of the most popular leisure spots in the city. The place offers numerous attractions and activities for all ages.
Saudi National Museum
Located in the heart of Riyadh, in the Al-Murabba district, next to King Abdulaziz Palace, the Saudi National Museum is the largest museum in the country. Covering an area of 17,000 square meters, it houses no less than 3,700 historical pieces of unique statues, manuscripts and sculptures.
King Abdullah Park
It is one of the most famous amusement parks and offers relaxing green spaces, beautiful lakes and hiking trails. The park also has numerous facilities, including a restaurant, a café and a children's playground, as well as a chapel and a private car park.
