Located in the Alta Ribagorça region of the Catalan Pyrenees, Taull is a beautiful little village and a popular winter destination for Catalans. However, it is not very popular among foreign tourists.

Taull has its own ski area, the Boi Taull Resort. Although it is a popular destination for locals, it is not as crowded as popular winter destinations in Spain, such as Baqueira or Andorra.
The region has been declared a UNESCO natural and cultural heritage site for its pretty Romanesque churches and its incredible Aigüestortes and Estany de Sant Maurici National Park, reports the Express newspaper.
This Catalan region can also be visited in the summer months. Due to the mild climate, Spaniards looking to escape the tourist crowds travel to Boi Taull to enjoy the relaxing Catalan countryside.

Skiing “without queues and with cheap passes”
This beautiful region is three and a half hours from Barcelona. The nearest airport is Barcelona-El Prat. However, a car is essential to explore the entire region.
Tourists can discover numerous attractions in the village and its surroundings. These include a visit to the famous Romanesque churches, skiing in the resort of Boi Taull, and hiking and adventure sports.
Boi Taull is one of the highest holiday resorts in the Pyrenees. Visitors have described it on Tripadvisor as a place with “good skiing, no queues and cheap ski passes”.
As for adventure sports, visitors can enjoy rafting, bungee jumping, canoeing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, but also guided bike tours and horseback riding for the little ones. .
