Grammy nominee Travis Barker announced the death of his beloved French Bulldog Blue on Wednesday.
Frenchies typically have a life expectancy of 10 to 14 years, and judging by the wealth of white fur lining Blue’s cheeks, he seemed to live a long life in the 46-year-old pop-punk drummer’s 10,000-square-foot Calabasas compound.
Travis – who has 13.2million social media followers – wrote via Instastory: “I’ll miss you Blue. you were the best dog I’ve always been waiting for you to say something. Always love you boy.’

Blue was raised primarily by Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, Alabama Luella, who sent several touching tributes to her four-legged companion.
“I love you blue. You will never understand how much you helped me on my darkest days,” wrote the not-so-typical teen, who has 4.4 million social media followers.
“You slept next to me, the way I threw your ball and you ran with excitement, or your eyes just touched everyone, I will never forget you my baby. I know you’re going to have the most amazing time in dog heaven. Until we meet again my love’
Alabama also wrote on TikTok, “Love you my baby. Your mom loves you more than life can imagine. [You’re] will have the most amazing life in heaven. Until we meet again, my son, I love you more than life itself.’
