Travis Kelce reportedly splashed out on a $6 million mansion in Kansas City as the NFL star wants more privacy amid his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift.
According to TMZ, Kelce closed the deal on Tuesday evening and his new home features a waterfall, swimming pool and mini-golf course.
According to the publication, Kelce, 34, was unhappy with the accessibility of his previous home and the NFL star felt he needed more privacy.
It adds that his relationship with Swift played a role in his decision-making and that his new home appears to be in a gated community. TMZ also adds that Kelce paid for it with his own money and it wasn’t a joint purchase with Swift.
Kelce has an annual salary of $14 million with the Kansas City Chiefs and signed a four-year contract worth around $57 million in 2020.

Swift stayed with Kelce in Kansas City last week after cheering him on in the NFL
But that salary is boosted by a series of commercial deals he has struck in recent months, including with Pfizer, where he is encouraging people to get vaccinated. He also has contracts with State Farm, Hy-Vee and Experian.
This weekend, Kelce and Swift were the talk of New York as the couple stayed at Swift’s Tribeca apartment over the weekend.
The pop star saw him play in the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.
They then traveled to the Big Apple together and made cameo appearances on Saturday Night Live before heading out for dinner at celebrity hotspot Nobu – a sushi restaurant.
The latest edition of Kelce’s New Heights podcast, which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, who plays in the NFL for the Philadelphia Eagles, featured his weekend with Swift.
“I don’t even remember what I said, I passed out,” Travis said of his SNL appearance. “As soon as they gave me the signal the whole place exploded, which was very overwhelming and I’m not even sure I said anything.”
“I left the stage and said, ‘I didn’t say anything.’ Everyone said, ‘Yeah, you killed it.’ I watched it and I still don’t really know if I said what I was supposed to say.
“We showed up on SNL and had the idea of supporting Ice Spice. She and Taylor are good friends. I’ve always wanted to meet Pete Davison and have been a fan of his for a while now, ever since he was actually on the show.

“I’m telling you, man, it was electrifying to be in that place again, there’s just something special about being in that space, and it’s their first episode this season.” I had such a blast, man.
“It was a star-studded backroom, I’m not the type to throw around names so I won’t, but it was great.” Thank you for having us.
“I didn’t know what sketches were coming and I’m pretty sure it was just ironic that they were doing one at Swift Mania, but I thought it was hilarious and when they asked me if I wanted to be in it, I thought Me: “Man, it would be an honor.” And then Taylor made the surprise appearance and introduced her good friend Ice Spice, who also absolutely nailed it.
“It was fun meeting everyone at SNL. I miss these boys and girls. Hopefully, you know, I win [the Super Bowl] Or Jason wins and we find our way back.’
Two-time Super Bowl winner Kelce and the Chiefs play the Los Angeles Chargers in the NFL on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. There’s no word yet on whether Swift will be there to cheer him on, but with her Eras tour resuming in Argentina on November 9, she doesn’t have too many chances to see him play in the near future.
After this weekend, the Chiefs are in Denver for a return game with the Broncos and travel to Germany the following weekend to play the Miami Dolphins – five days before Swift’s first appearance in Buenos Aires.
