Desperate to focus on soccer on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast, Travis Kelce only mentioned his girlfriend Taylor Swift once, in a casual reference to her fans.

Kelce admitted last week that because of his ties to Swift, he has been adjusting to his newfound fame and attention and not trying to add fuel to the fire on his podcast, which he co-hosts with his NFL-playing brother Jason of the Philadelphia Eagles moderated.

Travis was only talking about the Swifties’ presence at the Eagles game last weekend, when Jason and his Philadelphia team traveled to Los Angeles to play the Rams. He never fully mentioned Swift’s name.

“There were some Swifties among the Eagles fans in LA. “A TikTok user posted a video of Jason warming up and said, ‘Swifty here, I found a Kelce’ and had fun analyzing Jason’s warm-ups,” Travis said.

Otherwise, there was no further mention of his romance with the 33-year-old pop star.

Swift didn’t make it to Kelce’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday – he scored a touchdown in the 27-20 win, but also injured his ankle and required an X-ray.

There were also Swifties hoping to catch a glimpse of the pop star, but this time they were disappointed.

Previously, Swift made it to Kelce’s last two games – once at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where the Chiefs beat the Bears 41-10, and the next time in New York for the Jets game.

And this week, it’s currently questionable whether Kelce himself will be on the field when the Chiefs play the Denver Broncos on Thursday night.

Kelce said on the podcast that he feared he broke his ankle while rolling it on the turf against the Vikings. He needed an x-ray to confirm there had been no fracture.

The extent of the problem has not yet been disclosed by the team – which could be interpreted as good news by Chiefs fans – but coach Andy Reid has yet to decide whether Kelce can play on Thursday.

Speaking last Friday about the attention he and Swift have received, Travis said: “With all the attention coming, I feel like I’m on top of the world after the Super Bowl and even more so now World.” .

“There are a lot of people who care about Taylor, and for good reason. “I have to keep living, learning and enjoying the moments.

“We learn that the paparazzi take photos everywhere, but that’s part of it.”
