Travis Kelce seemed less than thrilled about celebrating his 34th birthday in Kansas City without his new girlfriend Taylor Swift, but quickly perked up when he received a photo request from a young female admirer.
Kelce took the time to have his photo taken with the blonde woman in front of the Golden Ox in Kansas City, where the two-time Super Bowl winner was spending an evening with friends on Thursday – two days before heading to the game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday traveled to Minneapolis.
The identity of the blonde fan on Kelce’s arm is unknown and the Chiefs tight end apparently just wanted to be gracious to local fans, some of whom were photographed with him.
It is unknown if Swift will be at home at US Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs are 2-0 under the pop star’s presence since she started dating Kelce last month. Swift was there during the Chiefs’ 41-10 win over the Bears on Sept. 24 when she celebrated Kelce’s touchdown reception with his mother, Donna. During the 23:20 win against the New York Jets last Sunday at MetLife Stadium, she and Donna once again sat next to each other in a luxury suite.
But when Donna was asked on the Today Show on Friday about the opportunity to sit with a world-famous celebrity at her son’s soccer games, she gave the impression she wasn’t impressed by the encounter with Swift.

“Yeah, it’s – you know, it’s pretty new, so I don’t like to talk about it,” Donna said of her introduction to Swift. “It’s just one of those things where obviously everyone saw me… I was in the boxes with her.” And yeah, it’s just another thing that has enriched my life.”
‘How was she?’ asked NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. “I mean, so you got to know her a little bit.” I got to sit with her for a few games. How was it?’
But Donna seemed in no mood to be pressured and simply quipped: “It was okay.”
Travis Kelce, on the other hand, seems absolutely thrilled to be spending time with Swift and says the new romance has made him happier than he was when he won the Super Bowl earlier this year.
The Chiefs star spoke to the media on Friday afternoon and was asked about his state of mind with his every move receiving so much more attention.
“With all the attention coming, I feel like I’m on top of the world after the Super Bowl and even more on top of the world now,” he said.
“There are a lot of people who care about Taylor, and for good reason. “I have to keep living, learning and enjoying the moments.
“We learn that the paparazzi take photos everywhere, but that’s part of it.”
Kelce also stressed that the new attention won’t distract him from football.
“I’ve always been pretty good at timing myself in this building and staying focused,” he said. “I’m just going to keep working with this man.”

“Everyone has fun with it, whether I think they’re overdoing it or not.” I know I brought that myself, and I’m lucky to have fun with it. “The only thing that really matters is that it doesn’t upset anyone, at least not here.”
Earlier this week, Kelce seemed unwilling to go into too much detail about things between him and the pop star.
On the latest episode of his New Heights podcast — which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles — he criticized the NFL for the amount of attention it paid to Swift when she attended its games.
NBC spoke to Swift 17 times during Sunday’s game, prompting Kelce to say, “Damn, that’s crazy.” That’s like one ride. Mom told me everyone had fun.’
