Travis Kelce is expected to miss the Grammys entirely, meaning he won't be able to witness Taylor Swift potentially win an award due to a “strict Super Bowl schedule” imposed by the Kansas City Chiefs.

According to TMZ, the 34-year-old tight end will arrive in Las Vegas the same weekend as the music industry's biggest awards show, scheduled to take place on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles – home of the Lakers.

That also means Kelce will no longer play in the Pro Bowl, including Sunday in Orlando, Florida. Kansas City's No. 87 received his ninth consecutive nomination since 2015 to play in the so-called NFL All-Star Game.

Swift will now have to hit the red carpet alone this weekend as she competes for six awards at the Grammys.

The scheduling conflict between the pop star and her boyfriend is not a sign that there are heated tensions between them. Last Sunday in Baltimore, Kelce professed his love for Swift as the Chiefs beat the Ravens 17-10 in the AFC championship game.

Kelce even caught the game's first touchdown pass, and Swift was stunned by the Chiefs' red-hot start. He ended up with 116 receiving yards for a touchdown on 11 receptions, but was seen without his girlfriend upon his return to Kansas City.

It has since been widely announced that Kelce will soon be the subject of a comic to be released soon.

TidalWave Comics has included the Ohio native in its FAME series, which features the life stories of prominent figures.

The glossy magazine, out February 7, covers Kelce's college and NFL careers as well as his life off the field – hosting the TV show “Saturday Night Live”, his weekly podcast (New Heights with Jason Kelce) and his philanthropy work.

Kelce is also expected to miss his ninth Pro Bowl appearance, as it will come on the same day the Chiefs land in Las Vegas for Super Bowl preparations on Feb. 11

Of course, there are also a few pages dedicated to his love story with the pop sensation Swift.

The Kelce-Swift romance was pure gold for the NFL, generating interest on social media and increasing merchandise sales.

TidalWave Comics recently updated its own Taylor Swift comic book, featuring the singer dressed as a cheerleader.

Kelce is scheduled to compete in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, but Swift could miss it due to scheduling conflicts with her “Eras Tour,” where she performs in Tokyo on Feb. 10, the night before the Super Bowl.
