Taylor Swift’s budding romance with NFL star Travis Kelce is sparking a big reaction from his fellow Kansas City Chiefs teammates, including coach Andy Reid, who joked about the couple’s introduction.
“I’ve met them before,” the decorated 65-year-old coach told reporters after Sunday’s 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears. “I set it up.”
Swift was pictured with Kelce’s mother Donna during Sunday’s win, in which the All-Pro tight end caught a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes. Afterward, Swift was caught on camera celebrating while appearing to scream, “Let’s fucking go!”
Mahomes said he had an inkling that Swift would be in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, but didn’t necessarily trust his source – Travis Kelce.
“He told me at the last minute,” Mahomes told reporters. “There are some things with Trav where he just says it and you don’t know if it’s true or not.” He says it so calmly:

Somewhat surprisingly, Mahomes claimed he had never met Swift.
“She’s a pop star,” he said. “She’s a great singer, great at everything she does.” I haven’t met her yet, but I guess if she ends up dating Travis, I’ll probably meet her at some point. Seems like a good person so I hope I get to meet her one day.’
The eight-time Pro Bowler previously told ESPN’s Pat McAfee that he invited Swift to Sunday week’s game.
“I told her that I saw her rocking on a stage in Arrowhead and that she might have to come over to see me rocking on a stage in Arrowhead,” Kelce said. “We’ll see what happens in the near future.”
But she was later seen laughing with another companion in the middle of the NFL game
Kelce previously shared on his “New Heights” podcast – which he co-hosts with his brother, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce – that he was upset about his opportunity to give Swift a friendship bracelet – along with his phone number. to present – walked past the boards during their Kansas City stop of the Eras Tour.
After the game, Kelce recorded a video in which he praised Reid for moving past legendary former Dallas Cowboys coach Tom Landry to take sole possession of fourth place on the all-time wins list.
“Get fired up man, we gotta get coach Reid No. 1,” Kelce said in a video post on the NFL’s X account.
“He just got to four, we have to get him to No. 1. But in the meantime, we’ll keep getting these dubs, baby.” “Chiefs Kingdom get loud, baby.”
