Trey Songz is facing a new lawsuit from two women who claim he sexually assaulted them in their sleep during an incident at his Los Angeles mansion in 2015.
The 38-year-old “Bottoms Up” rapper has been named in a sexual assault and assault lawsuit in which his accusers are seeking damages for the consequences of the incident, TMZ reported Wednesday after reviewing legal documents in the case.
Michael Freedman, an attorney for the Petersburg, Virginia-born singer, told the outlet Wednesday night that the lawsuit is “another example of nearly decade-old allegations being repurposed to exploit California’s constitutionally questionable new lookback window.”
He added: “We look forward to seeing Trey vindicate the matter in court.”
The women said they attended one of the Grammy-nominated artist’s shows in June 2015 and were invited to an afterparty; They were then invited to his birthday party at his Los Angeles mansion in August of that year.

In court documents, the women said they took an Uber to Songz’s residence in Southern California. To gain access to the site, they had to hand over their phones and provide a password.
The women said the birthday party was attended by “mostly women and only a handful of men,” according to the newspaper.
The women said they suspected they had taken drugs at the event as they claimed they were forced to consume alcohol from unlocked bottles and felt “overwhelmingly drunk” after having a “modest” drink, according to TMZ. had drunk a lot.
The women told the court they were sitting on a couch by the pool when the slow-motion singer approached them and led them into an upstairs bedroom in the house.
The women said they both passed out upstairs and woke up with no clothes on to find Songz naked and sexually assaulting them, according to the outlet.
One of the women accused Songz of performing oral sex on her without her consent and forced her to continue when she tried to stop him. The other woman said that as she stood up, she noticed the Na Na artist digitally penetrating her and biting her nipple.
Songz was verbally abused after the women refused to shower with him after he performed the non-consensual sexual acts, the women told the court.
Songz yelled at the women, “You are little f***ing girls, get the fuck out of my house,” and wouldn’t give the women their phones back. The women said a security guard eventually gave them their phones and they left with an Uber driver.
Songz was pictured in February being charged over an alleged assault

News of the lawsuits comes four months after Songz was charged with sexual assault after a woman claimed he “exposed” her breast from her bikini top without her consent at a 2013 pool party, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ received in June.
Songz also faced a separate $25 million lawsuit in February after a woman said he allegedly raped her in 2016.
The woman, who goes by the anonymous name Jane Doe, is not only targeting Songz, but also the R&B star’s production company, record executive Kevin Liles, and also Atlantic Records.
In the documents, she stated that the “multiple defendants” were responsible because they should have been aware of his “sexual proclivities,” and further claimed that they “failed to keep Trey under control during the incident.”
Her lawyer claimed that the woman was left “humiliated” after the incident and caused “long-lasting emotional distress,” according to TMZ.
Due to the “embarrassment” that also followed her, the lawyer claimed the woman gave up on her “promising career” just months after the alleged assault.
Last year in 2022, the woman sent a “letter of demand” to Trey over the incident that occurred at the 2013 Foxwoods Liquid Sundays with Trey Songz event in Connecticut.
She is seeking a total of $10 million in damages and also included a video that captured the incident on camera.

In early February of this year, Songz was hit with a $25 million lawsuit related to a previous sexual assault allegation that was dismissed after the statute of limitations expired.
The woman, who is also referred to as Jane Doe in legal documents obtained by Rolling Stone, sued Trey, his record label, manager Kevin Liles and 300 Entertainment as defendants and demanded that the parties be held accountable for his actions.
First, a woman named Jane Doe filed a rape report in February 2022, alleging that Songz, née Tremaine Aldon Neverson, forced her to have anal sex without her consent at a house party in LA on March 26, 2016.
She claimed she thought they were going upstairs to have consensual sex, but without warning he “threw her to the ground” and allegedly raped her while ignoring her cries of pain.
Apparently naming record labels and affiliates is a relatively new strategy that legal teams are using in sexual abuse lawsuits against musicians.
As part of the new lawsuit, Songz responded to the claims against him by using his Instagram stories at the time.
“Lies will never be the truth.” No matter who believes that, he wrote in the post, which ended with the Arabic phrase “alhamdulillah,” which in English means “praise be to God,” or sometimes “thank God.”
In support of the new lawsuit, Doe pointed out that she was not the first person to call out the singer and rapper for violent behavior and then listed 10 other incidents, including an attack at a bowling alley in October that he allegedly hit a man and a woman during an argument.
In defense, however, Trey’s attorney Michael Freedman strongly denied the allegations in a statement to TMZ on Friday; seen in September 2021 in Las Vegas

The woman also told police that Neverson “dragged her by the hair” after she allegedly tried to stop him from entering a restroom with a woman in his entourage.
Former college basketball player Dylan Gonzalez accused the Heart Attack star of raping her in Las Vegas. Las Vegas police reportedly investigated the allegations but closed the investigation in April 2022.
In another case, Neverson was sued in December 2021 in Miami for $10 million by a woman who claimed she felt his “fingers inserted into her vagina without her consent” during a New Year’s Eve party in 2018. In all cases a lawsuit was filed against it. He denied any wrongdoing.
In January 2017, Nope actress Keke Palmer also came forward and claimed that Trey used “sexual intimidation” to get her to appear in his music video for “Pick Up The Phone.”
According to People, the mother of one jumped to Instagram after he used her cameo in the video without her permission or consent.
“That is absurd. How am I doing in this video, Trey? “After you found me hiding in a closet because I was so afraid of further conflict,” she began.
“Literally my last chance was to hide because y’all didn’t listen the FIRST time I said I didn’t want to be in the video. “Just because you give someone food and alcohol and a Adding little sexual intimidation doesn’t mean he’ll back down.”
The former Nickelodeon star went on to claim that the singer “secretly filmed” her and then “included me in the video against my will.”
