Trinny Woodall appears to have found solace in her friend Vanessa Feltz after she was reportedly split from her multimillionaire partner Charles Saatchi.
The 59-year-old fashion guru went to her first public event since reports surfaced earlier this week that she has split from Charles, 79, after growing weary of their 20-year age gap.
Trinny was pictured with Vanessa, 61, at the launch of Elizabeth Day’s new book Friendaholic: Confessions of a Friendship Addict at Langan’s Brasserie in Mayfair on Wednesday night.
Agony aunt Vanessa no doubt had plenty of advice on hand for being single after her 16-year relationship with her ex Ben Ofoedu collapsed last month when she discovered he was cheating on her.
Trinny showed no sign of heartbreak as she beamed for photos and was joined by her teenage daughter Lyla, 19, after telling fans she was embracing her “new dawn and new life”.

Trinny looked as fashionable as ever in a snakeskin print skirt, fringed top, sparkly black coat and chunky boots, while her ex Charles was pictured in a low-key appearance in Chelsea earlier in the day.
Vanessa, on the other hand, looked adorable in a pastel blue floral dress and green lace-up boots.
The This Morning star was pictured after Ben, 50, announced his hopes of reuniting and said they have “loved each other for 17 years”.
Setting the record straight, he said: “We were in love for 17 years so yeah I’d love to be in that situation again because I love her so much.
He told presenter Mark Dolan: “Vanessa and I have broken up. I mean, I’ve been pretty honest about it, really. All I had was that I had an affair before that put our relationship on pretty shady ground, but we really got over it, and it was like 2015.
“I just want to set the record straight, it’s not multiple women. I’m not a serial scammer. I don’t go to summer camp and I just cheat. That’s not the truth but I think it’s a great tale that the love rat love cheats.
Meanwhile, friends close to Trinny claim that her 20-year age difference with Charles has caused problems in their relationship.
Speaking to The Sun, a pal said: “Charles wants to slow down. He prefers quiet evenings at home, while Trinny feels the opposite.

Trinny has been with Saatchi for 10 years — since his split from wife Nigella Lawson — but the makeup and beauty mogul said on Instagram on Friday that she’s moving on.
She wrote: “It’s a new day, it’s a new dawn, it’s a new life.” She added: “I’ve moved, but now I’ve moved.”
She is currently on a skiing holiday with her family in France, where they own a chalet.
An emotional-sounding Trinny said: “I’ve looked at this prospect for the last 30 years of my life. It’s the only consistent view I’ve ever had.’
“Recently it was important for me to come back here with (daughter) Lyla and family to experience this moment, listen to the birds and be one with nature. Very healing.’
Saatchi, an advertising executive turned art collector, is believed to be worth around £100million. Trinny’s value is unknown but her beauty and skincare brand is said to be worth £180million and counting. He declined to comment.
In a 2021 interview, Trinny said she’s “grown up a lot” on the relationship, saying, “I don’t get away with stuff, so if I have some kind of outrage, he’ll go, ‘Really, you’re kidding ?’ And then I go upstairs and I’m like, ‘Okay, let me grow up now.’
“I think that’s what happens when you’re with someone who’s been through a lot in their life and there’s no one more supportive of my business and jobs to be my champion.”
The couple started dating in 2013 after Saatchi’s first wife, Kay Hartenstein, reportedly made a short list of women he might like to date.

He has been single since splitting from food writer Nigella Lawson shortly after photos were published showing Saatchi holding her by the neck during lunch at Scott’s in Mayfair.
He explained at the time that it was a “playful argument” and accepted a warning from the police.
He later said he was just helping Nigella “focus,” but she explained that she saw a cute baby come by in a stroller and said she was looking forward to becoming a grandmother, sparking an argument.
She said in court he told her, “I’m the only person you should be worried about.” Nigella added that her ex-husband “told everyone” that he actually took cocaine out of her nose.
Within three months of the romance beginning, Trinny had partially moved into Saatchi’s Chelsea home.
In 2014, Trinny’s former husband Johnny Elichaoff committed suicide. He had battled an addiction to painkillers for 20 years. They have one daughter, Lyla, 19.
In an interview, Trinny said: “I worry about being a single mother, but I get good advice from Charles. He has a fabulous daughter, Phoebe, who is incredibly kind and smart. He has a great child because he raised her well.’
She offered a rare glimpse into their relationship when she told a podcast in 2021, “Any friend who has known me for years will know that I am the most self-sufficient person they have ever met. i know how hard i work
“I know I’m paying for everything in my life except the roof over my head because I live with Charles. Every single thing I pay for and every element of my business expenses that I pay attention to.”
