Former President Trump left his home in Florida on Monday afternoon to appear in court in New York on Tuesday.
Trump and his cohort left Mar-a-Lago in West Palm Beach just after 12:15 p.m. Monday. Fox News and MSNBC broadcast the car caravan live through the streets until they reached the airport.
Some of his supporters gathered on the street near his Mar-a-Lago estate as vehicles drove by.
The former president’s private plane was waiting for him at the airport. The motorcade arrived at 12:35 p.m., and Trump boarded the plane moments later.
Trump spends Monday evening at Trump Tower in Manhattan. He will appear in court on Tuesday morning. His indictment is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

A grand jury last Thursday voted to indict him for his role in arranging secret payments to a porn star during his 2016 campaign.
The indictment, which remains sealed, responds to an investigation by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) into a $130,000 payment agreement that Michael Cohen, his former attorney, made to Stormy Daniels.
The former president and his allies have repeatedly said the impeachment was politically motivated, noting that he is leading most of the Republican primary ahead of the 2024 race.
But the specific charges against him will not be known until the indictment on Tuesday.
Trump is expected to return to his home in Mar-a-Lago after Tuesday’s hearing. He has announced that he will make statements later that night.
