Trump praises ‘incredibly nice’ court staff as he’s OFFICIALLY added to New York’s criminal database

Former President Donald Trump has been officially added to the New York Searchable Crime Database as file number IND-71543-23.

The entry shows Trump’s year of birth – 1946 – but contains no information about his arrest, only the name of one of his defense attorneys, Gedalia Moshe Stern, and Stern’s contact information.

The database also notes that Trump’s next trial date is not until December 4th.

On Wednesday, Trump, a 2024 presidential hopeful, released a statement applauding the professionalism of the police officers and court clerks he encountered during his incarceration the day before.

“The BIG PATRIOTS inside and outside the courthouse on Tuesday were incredibly nice, in fact they couldn’t have been nicer,” Trump said. “Court officials, police officers and others were all very professional and represented New York City sooo well.”

‘Thanks to all!’ added the former president.

Trump was charged with 34 felonies of falsifying business records in connection with Stormy Daniels’ hush-money scheme in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.

He pleaded not guilty in New York Criminal Court Tuesday afternoon when Thursday’s 16-page indictment was unsealed.

In addition, a 13-page fact sheet was released by the Manhattan Attorney’s Office.

It states that between August 2015 and December 2017, Trump “enacted a plan with others to influence the 2016 presidential election by identifying and purchasing negative information about him in order to suppress its publication and improve the defendant’s electoral prospects.”

The alleged crimes included writing monthly checks to his former attorney, Michael Cohen, throughout 2017 as part of a “reservation agreement,” with prosecutors saying there was no such advance agreement and those payments were actually intended to pay Cohen the $130,000 that Daniels was given to keep her silence about her 2006 tryst with Trump before Election Day 2016.

The facts are that Trump and Cohen even met in the Oval Office, where Cohen received a promise of repayment from the then President.

Trump ignored reporters during his afternoon in New York court, but then returned to Mar-a-Lago, where he railed against those working in what he saw as a politicized justice system.

“As it turns out, virtually everyone who has looked at this case, including RINOs and even hardcore Democrats, says there is no crime and it should never have been brought, never should have been brought, everyone. Even people who aren’t big fans have said it,” the former president said.

In Mar-a-Lago, Trump went through the staffing of the judiciary, which he saw as problematic.

Trump blew up Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a Democrat, saying he was campaigning “to get President Trump.”

He also prosecuted Judge Juan Manuel Merchan, who is leading the New York hush money case.

“I have a Trump-hating judge with a Trump-hating wife and family whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and is now getting money from the Biden-Harris campaign and lots of it,” Trump said from the podium at his Florida home and resort.

He also slammed Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, calling her a “local racist Atlanta Democratic District Attorney.”

Willis, who is black, is overseeing a case that could see Trump indicted over his role in trying to overturn Georgia’s 2020 election result.

Trump also called New York Attorney General Letitia James, also black, a “reverse racist” for prosecuting fraud cases against his companies.

The ex-president also called Special Counsel Jack Smith a “maniac”.

Smith, who was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland from President Joe Biden, is handling two federal investigations related to Trump – his handling of classified documents after leaving the White House and his role in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

During his 2020 campaign — and now again in his 2024 campaign — Trump has professed his support for rank-and-file law enforcement officials while calling local and state prosecutors and top Justice Department and FBI officials corrupt if they’ve looked into his dealings.
