Former President Donald Trump spoke repeatedly about President Biden’s health in his interview with Tucker Carlson – and flatly stated that Vice President Kamala Harris should not expect to be nominated in the event of his death.
Trump has been critical of the vice president’s speaking habits, calling her “strange” and saying she speaks in rhyme.
This came as he predicted a “free race for all” in the event the president doesn’t “make it” by Election Day 2024. His somber speculation came during an interview meant to disrupt another scramble — this one among rival Republicans to challenge him for the Republican presidential nomination, even as Trump dominates the polls while he plans to have his mug shot in a jail Thursday in Fulton County, Georgia.

“A lot of people say she has to remain the candidate for some reason — she has to,” Trump said of Harris. “Actually, I don’t think that’s true,” Trump told Carlson, without explaining what reasons he was referring to.
“I don’t think other people would accept that. She has some bad moments. “Her moments are almost as bad as his, or even worse, in my opinion,” he said.
That prompted Carlson, who was interviewing Trump for his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, to remark that she “seems to be pretty senile, too.”
“She speaks in rhymes.” It’s funny. “It’s weird,” Trump said. “But she has bad moments,” Trump said of Harris, 58.
“In rhyme?” Carlson snorted.
“Well, the way she talks. The bus goes here and then the bus goes there, because that’s what buses do. It is strange. The whole thing is strange. This is not the future of the President of the United States. And I think they probably have some kind of area code, and other people will get involved,” Trump said.

“You know, he looks good. “He looks good and speaks well,” Trump said of California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D).
“I don’t think he’s going to make it to goal, but you know, you never know,” Trump said of Biden

“Could be,” Trump said of Newsom, who supports Biden and has sparked a debate with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
“I always get along with him, believe it or not, but he could be.” Could be someone else. He’s got a big, big load on your shoulders because you’re looking at California what happened.”
Then he said the American people don’t seem to care about a politician’s record.
“A bad record used to mean a lot today.” “Today it doesn’t really mean anything,” he said. “You know, he looks good. “He looks good and speaks well,” he said of Newsom.
“But Biden, every time you see him talk, it’s like he’s walking on balls.” You’re waiting for him to break down. And he almost always does,” Biden said.
He then immediately turned to commentary on a trio of authoritarian leaders.
“And I’ve basically met the leaders of all countries except the big ones.” And the bigger the tougher the leader, you know, it’s like that, yeah, I think maybe that’s how it should be.
“But I met Chinese President Xi and Putin and Kim Jong Un in North Korea.” “I did a great job with North Korea and saved us from nuclear war,” Trump claimed.
“I don’t think he’s going to make it to the gate, but you know, you never know,” Trump said of President Biden.
