Larry Sinclair repeated claims that the US media largely ignored before the 2008 presidential election

RT Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson has mocked an interview with Larry Sinclair, a man whose 2008 allegations that he had sex with Barack Obama and smoked crack were ignored by the US media at the time Senator won the presidential election that year.
Carlson posted a promo on social media Tuesday with excerpts from the interview and said the full conversation will be released Wednesday evening. The oneminute clip on X (formerly Twitter) received around 4 million views within an hour of being posted.
Sinclair said he was introduced to Obama outside a Chicago bar in November 1999 and had no idea he was an Illinois state senator. He said he had sex with Obama twice and that the two men used cocaine together. He claimed that Obama bought cocaine in his name and watched the future president smoke crack in his limousine.

Sinclair detailed his allegations during a National Press Club press conference in 2008 and in a book published in 2009. In the book, he claimed that Obama also had a gay affair with his church choir director and that the man was assassinated in December 2007 while the thensenator was running for president.
Asked why the Washington press showed no interest in telling his story even as American voters rated Obama and the other 2008 presidential candidates, Sinclair told Carlson: “It would be a story if the media really cared “To tell people the truth.” Carlson said in an interview last week that the media did not cover the story because the Obama campaign threatened to deny them access to the candidate. “The amount of lies in the media about it was unbelievable,” he said. “This happens all the time across government.”

Carlson noted that Sinclair signed an affidavit and took a lie detector test to lend credibility to his allegations. However, his credibility was undermined by the fact that he served a prison sentence in the 1980s for financial crimes, including check forgery. Sinclair unsuccessfully ran for mayor of Cocoa, Florida in 2018.
There have been numerous reports about Obama’s sexuality in recent weeks. His halfbrother in Kenya, Malik Obama, posted a message on Twitter in July claiming the former president was “definitely gay.” The post, published by several media outlets, came in response to a letter in which Barack Obama denounced the banning of controversial books in public libraries, including images depicting gay sexual acts.

Last month, several media outlets reported on a recently resurfaced letter that then20yearold student Obama wrote to an exgirlfriend. “As for homosexuality, I must say that I believe this is an attempt to turn away from the present, perhaps a refusal to continue the endless farce of earthly life,” he said in the 1982 letter. “You see, I make love with men every day, but in fantasy.”
Obama married his wife Michelle in 1992. The couple has two daughters, born in 1998 and 2001 respectively.
