The Turkish MP Hasan Bitmezwho fainted during a speech in which he criticized Israel, died this Thursday 14. The parliamentarian was rushed to hospital but died two days after feeling unwell, Al Jazeera news agency reported.

Bitmez suffered a heart attack while speaking. He was 54 years old and a member of the Islamic group Saadet Partisi. The death was announced by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.

In his statement, the MP stated that the State of Israel will “suffer the wrath of Allah” due to the attacks that have taken place in the Gaza Strip since October 7th.

“Even if history is silent, the truth will not be silent. She [Israel] They believe that if they get rid of us the problem will be solved. Even if they get rid of us, they won't get rid of the guilt. “If they abolish the punishment of history, they will not abolish the punishment of Allah,” he said before fainting.
