Henri Picard will be on our screens this fall to play two opposing roles, which is the be-all and end-all of any actor who, above all, aims to transform from one project to the next.
In “Indefensible,” he plays an uneventful young man who makes a very bad decision by committing a robbery at a supermarket. When he shoots a customer in front of the surveillance cameras, his future disappears live.

In Lac-Noir, he joins the second season cast by lending his facial features to Raphaël, the youngest member of the Canadian Werewolf Senate alongside his mentor, the powerful Gabriel (Guy Nadon).
The 22-year-old actor is particularly excited about having to deliver his lines with a gun in TVA’s Justice Newspaper and being both man and beast in the Club Illico horror series.

If we add to his roadmap the film “The Diver” by Francis Leclerc, which was released last February, Henri Picard feels privileged to have so many great opportunities to present himself and gain experience.
“I had a great 2022 and a great start to 2023. I was lucky.”
A disillusioned young man
In “Indefensible,” his character Tom Dorion comes from a family that doesn’t live in gold. Tom feels like he has no future and his goal is to quickly raise $20,000 by robbing convenience stores.

“My biggest challenge was the scene [vol à main armée]. I wanted it to be convincing. It was fun, I had never done that before. It was this scene that scared me the most. All the scenes in court, in the dock, I had never done so much before. These were complex emotions to explore,” he said.
Tom is loaned a gun with a hypersensitive trigger by Krys Duranceau (Sam-Éloi Girard), aka KDBANG, a villain who wants to avoid getting involved in a lawsuit.
Also involved in Tom Dorion’s conspiracy is Carolanne (Camille Felton), the cashier at the supermarket where he commits his armed robbery. SCREENSHOT / QMI AGENCY
At the supermarket where Carolanne (Camille Felton) works, Tom meets a much more experienced criminal who thwarts his plans by attacking him. Tom, also armed with a knife, fears he will be stabbed and accidentally shoots his attacker. It is Inès (Nour Belkhiria) who defends him with the help of Léo (Sébastien Delorme) and tries to spare him a long prison sentence.
The youngest member of the Canadian Werewolf Senate
In Lac-Noir, Henri Picard’s character Raphaël is the youngest member of the Canadian Werewolf Senate. Raphaël grew up in Lac-Noir and was Jade’s (Laurie Babin) confidante. Now an orphan, he returns to the village to shed light on the murders and disappearances featured in the first season.

“He is more advanced than werewolves his age. He learned to control his powers. He has already taken part in important decisions and wants justice to be done. He helps Gabriel get information in Lac-Noir.”
The exchange with Guy Nadon enabled Henri Picard to take a free master class. “It’s intimidating at first, but he’s such a generous actor.”
Henri Picard, a fan of horror films, “bullied” his father, actor and director Luc Picard, into watching horror films when he was 7 to 8 years old. “He would show me and push the more intense parts. I jumped at the chance to play a werewolf because it might never happen to me again,” said the man, whose mother, actress Isabel Richer, is also well known to Quebecers.
