Inès is sequestered in a cellar

However, before viewers see the third season, they can get involved in a lot of intrigue in the second part of the second season this winter and spring.

Inès (Nour Belkhiria) is in danger. The young criminal defense attorney is just beginning her career. After brilliantly presenting her first murder case at the start of the season, she now finds herself in a basement, as we saw in Thursday's episode, the final airing before the holidays.

Poor Inès, who hasn't been found for 24 hours, has fallen into the clutches of someone who obviously has a grudge against her. And there is no shortage of candidates. It could be her erotomaniac client Mylène Kirouac (Rebecca Vachon), who was also fixated on Louna Rose (Roxane Bruneau) and with whom Inès made the mistake of sleeping with her. Inès bluntly told her to leave her alone, while Mylène was as crazy about her as she was about Louna Rose.

She could also have locked up her client Shawn Godin (Pierre-Paul Alain), a former soldier suffering from post-traumatic shock. He was the last person seen with her and he fled his trial after killing a colleague in the Olympic Park.

The most likely, however, is this third and more worrying character: the postman Jérémie Martel (Lucien Ratio), who managed to escape justice in the first season of “Indéfensible” and who met Inès again the day before her disappearance. If he is, Inès could have a hard time in the next few episodes.

A new lawyer in the office

When the holidays return, the trial of Martial Quintal (Benoit Brière) continues with his lawyer Léo MacDonald (Sébastien Delorme).

A new lawyer will join the firm, but before that Me Kim Nolin (Julie Trépanier) will represent Myriam Ferron (Ingrid Falaise), Quintal's wife. Both accuse themselves of being responsible for the abuse of their five children. I Nolin knows Léo and André Lapointe (Michel Laperrière) as interns.

Marie-Anne (Anne-Élisabeth Bossé) struggles to recover from her miscarriage and must make a crucial decision.

Léo and André will team up on a case involving a serial killer (Stéphane Demers). André is even threatened, he who continues to develop common feelings with the judge Clara Fortin (Josée Deschênes).

The return of Dr. Charbonneau

In addition, we will witness the sexual assault trial against Dr. Charbonneau (Christian Bégin), who we met in the first season. His alleged victims, remember, are Pierre Poirier (Hubert Proulx) and his daughter Séverine (Rosalie Loiselle). Charbonneau is represented by Me Boileau (Peter Miller).

Other causes of murder include Didier Roy (Didier Lucien), accused of killing his wife who was found hanged, Romane Blais (Catherine St-Laurent), a personal assistant who allegedly killed her boss, and Fabien Berger (Alexandre Landry). , a man accused of kidnapping and murdering a wealthy entrepreneur.

The daily Indéfendable, which airs Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. on TVA, returns on January 8th.
