TVE suspends the broadcast of the Ana Morgade program after

La 1 premiered the program “Let’s get together well” this Tuesday, a room where a group of comedians – Miki Nadal, Miguel Maldonado, La Terremoto de Alcorcón and María Gómez – faced each other in a mental battle to share current events to comment with games, challenges and physical tests. Ana Morgade was its presenter and it was one of the public broadcaster’s bets to try to revive prime time. However, its premiere, which hosted Benidorm Fest winner Blanca Paloma, failed to attract audiences and garnered a very low market share of 4.8%, well below the channel’s average. It only had 486,000 viewers, insufficient data to continue broadcast. Just three days later, this Friday, it was revealed that the chain had decided to withdraw it from airing and try to redirect it to restore it in the future.

As Morgade herself announces on social networks, if the project continues, she will not be there. “We worked a lot, we put in time, effort and great enthusiasm, but we couldn’t connect with the audience. Let’s not kid ourselves: we had fewer viewers than teletext,” jokes the comedian in her statement. “The program will try to shine again and return to screens in a few months, but I can’t be there, I have agreed on other adventures and we will go our separate ways,” he announced.

In her message, Morgade regrets “not having had the opportunity to continue working on finding a way for the program to connect, make people laugh and make it work”. He also took the opportunity to thank the rest of the team, the production company responsible for the project, The Pool, and the viewers who watched the premiere.
