Twitter responds to Seahawks’ chilly loss to Chiefs with some chilly takes – Field Gulls

It might actually have happened, but it would have been a lot funnier if they actually won.

Regardless, the Seattle Seahawks lost a game to the Kansas City Chiefs that virtually everyone predicted they would lose, and it still seemed to hammer home the point that this team is almost certainly going nowhere in 2022 will. That’s okay because this team has exceeded expectations in many ways, but reality is setting in. It’s not all pessimism, especially when it comes to the long-term prospects for this team. But in the short term, confidence dwindles quickly.

Tyler Lockett may have missed the game, but that didn’t stop him from sharing some feelings about the game.

Others apparently shared the same feeling.

The defense put in a much more respectable performance than many expected given this KC offense, and even if it was far from perfect, they weren’t the weakest link on the field today. Tariq Woolen reappeared as he always does.

It wasn’t all bad… Godwin Igwebuike looks like a fun mid-season surprise in the second leg.

All of the downfall and obscurity notwithstanding, the Seahawks are still not “technically” locked out of the payout dispute… So I’m saying there’s a chance.
